Liberation through the education and empowerment of our people. By providing Bay Area Youth with the tools to formulate their own opinions and individual selves, they respond with creative solutions and showcase their ideas through art, community involvment, and ability to pass along their knowlege in every aspect of their lives unapologetically.

 

BYA is dedicated towards the fight for social and structural change. Funded through grants and aided by multiple orginizations and BSU's around the Bay, BYA has shown initiative and driven purpose in expanding and providing endless opportunities for it's youth.

BYA, being a black youth based,led, and uprooted organization has accumulated and served with many dedicated youth from all over the bay area. Each individual possesses bright, educated, and conscious qualities, and has shown leadership skills in his, or her own community.
